Had an amazing time at The Horseshoe! The hosts were incredibly knowledgeable, sharing great tips about the area. My double room was spacious and spotless, with a comfy bed that made for restful nights. Breakfasts were a standout feature, offering a varied selection that included delicious cooked options as well as fresh fruit every morning. The location was superb. just a short walk from the town center with plenty of dining options nearby. On the downside, the shower pressure was a bit on the low side, which was a minor annoyance. theWi-Fi connection experienced occasional hiccups. Still, these didn’t overshadow the overall positive experience. Truly a delightful guesthouse to explore Rhayader from!

Clean, well-presented accommodation. Comfortable bed with good facilities including Netflix access.
Connection issues plagued the supposed free Wi-Fi, impacting the stay. Dairy-free options unavailable, and provisions like milk and tea remained unrefilled. Signage for common areas could use improvement, as not finding the sitting room until the last day wasn’t ideal.

Had a lovely 2-night stay in a comfy room. The breakfast was really good, especially the fresh fruit selection. Super chill vibe and the garden patio was a hit for our pups! Just wish the shower pressure was a bit better, but overall, it was a nice retreat in a quiet area.

Just a top selection for a city trip in Rhayader, great for the money. Paul, the host, greeted us with a cold beer after our long ride. Check out the local pubs for dinner, they’re all nearby.
